When the damper fails it will cause the refrigerator section to get too cold and freeze if the damper gets stuck in the open position, or cause the refrigerator section to warm up and not get cold enough if the damper door gets stuck in the closed position.

• Tools Required: Before replace the air damp control assembly, you should prepare a quarter inch nut driver and a flathead screwdriver, putty knife, please refer to the images and text for installation instructions
• How To Install: 1. Unplug the appliance’s power cord 2. Remove all drawers, the damp control is at the bottom 3. Open the water filter cover and disconnect the led wire harness to fully remove the panel 4. Remove the air tower assembly 5. Detach the thermistor cover and remove it 6. Remove the polystyrene insulation and you will see the damp control 7. Disconnect the wire and replace it
