The RIKON 80-808M 1 HP Low Speed Motor, Base and LED Work Light Assembly is designed for users who want the flexibility to choose their own compatible grinding wheels. Different users sharpen and grind different tools, and wheel material, grit, hardness, and quality can vary widely depending on the application. This assembly is supplied without grinding wheels, allowing users to configure their sharpening or light-duty grinding setup based on their specific tools, materials, and wheel preferences. Powered by a quiet 1 HP induction motor with low speed 1,750 RPM operation, the 80-808M provides a strong, steady power platform for compatible sharpening stations and shop grinding applications. The cast-iron base with rubber anti-vibration feet helps provide a stable foundation, while the flexible LED work light improves visibility at the work area. The assembly includes a safety on/off switch with lockout key, 5/8 in. diameter threaded arbor with arbor nuts, and a 6 ft. power cord. It can be used with compatible wheels selected by the user, or as a replacement motor, base, and work light assembly for the RIKON 80-808 Low Speed Bench Grinder. Grinding wheels, guards, tool rests, and other bench grinder accessories are not included.
